King Gjalland

King Gjalland was the founder of the ancient Merindian empire.

The Founder of an Empire

King Gjallund was a great leader, and very innovating when it came to use of tactics. He decided that he wanted to conquer all of the city states in northwest Merindia, and by -1,015 he had conquered all of the city states and founded the volundic empire. This empire became extremely successful, conquering all of Merindia, and even using their advanced longships to found colonies in northwest Cocar and around the Isonian sea. King Gjalland ruled this empire for 64 years until he died of natural causes.

Appearance

King gjalland was very large and strong, even next to other ancient Merindians. King gjalland had long hair, and a long braided beard which reached down to his lower chest. His body was covered in tattoos, which depicted religious scenes of the Merindian gods and general Merindian designs. King gjallund wore the skin of a bear around his shoulders, a crown made of golden worg teeth, a necklace made of the teeth of dire wolf, Dire bears, and the talons of a Ronok. The rest of his cloths consisted of expensive fabric, animal furs, and metal plates.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

King Gjalland was a massive imposing man, towering above most other people in ancient Merindia and possessing great strength and muscle mass. Due to his size and strength he was a great warrior, and he wielded the mighty worgslayer, a massive sword which he was able to use to kill a worg in a single blow.
