hydronoth

Hydronoths are long necked fish-eating hydrens that live off the coasts of Grimoria.

Description

Hydronoths have 4 muscular legs, 4 clawed feet, and very long tails, and they have a large hump between their shoulders that supports their colossal necks. Hydronoths have no fur, and scaly skin. Hydronoths have extremely long necks that make up 60% of their entire body length. They have very long and thing jaws full if thin needle-like teeth that are adapted to catching fish. Hydronoths also have short but thick tails that counterbalance their extremely long necks.

Behavior

Hydronoths will convene in groups around areas with large concentrations of fish. They will extend their long necks forward, putting their slender jaws into the water in hopes of catching fish. Hydronoths will fish in ocean coastlines, lakes, and rivers, but they only inhabit warm regions.
