epicyon

Epicyons are a large canid species native to Lenuria. Epicyons can be found in the plains of Greater Lenuria and a bit into the deserts and jungles too.

Description

Epicyons resemble massive dogs that are around 5 feet (1.5 meters) long and weigh between 200-300 lbs (91-136 kg). Epicyons have large heads and powerful jaws which they used to crush the bones of their prey. Epicyons have brown fur which is black around the feet and muzzle.

Hunting

Epicyons are carnivores that hunt in packs and use their powerful jaws to take down large prey. Epicyons are deadly predators, but often run into conflict with entelodonts and amphicyons over prey.
