amphicyon

Amphicyon is a large bear-like animal native to all of the environments of Lenuria.

Description

Amphicyon resembles a large bear with a doglike head. Amphicyons are very large and robustly built, with powerful front legs. Amphicyons mostly have brown/tan fur and are about the size of large polar bears.

Diet

Amphicyon is omnivorous and eats fish, berries, nuts, fruit, and meat. Amphicyons are very powerful but slow and thus are often unable to run down faster prey, but will kill slow, inured prey or will scavenge. Amphicyons often clash with entelodonts over food, and battles between the two species can go either way.
