The Sovereignty Council - Hammer 1375
General Summary
A cryptic message instructed those on the Sovereignty council to meet in Willow Enclave.
Grud and Alik arrived first to find a turtle in a box. Once Nihilus and the rest joined, the enchantment on Diavolo was broken, and he was restored to himself.
Upkeep
Despite defeat in war, the kingdom was able to maintain its stability and keep unrest at bay. The Hand of the Sovereign's presence was missed.
Edict
Diavolo challenged Nihilus on his ability to maintain power and then was beheaded by Grud. Alik was voted up to Diavolo’s position. Watchtowers were upgraded to forts and canals were installed. Multiple water gates, a wall, and a granary were added to Warhaven, and a jail was built in West Haven Haven. The remaining Gulvorg was given rest. The Long Night edict was passed. Diavolo regenerated and resigned his position, leaving in a damning flash.
Income
Alik remained in his position of treasurer long enough to see that taxes were collected.
Event
Via a written invitation, Bombo brought his cohort and met Nihilus and Alik to talk peace. After long negotiations, a neutral zone was decided upon, marking boundaries for The Sovereignty and The Kingdom of Fjordhaven. As part of the agreement, Alik moved to The Kingdom of Fjordhaven’s council.
