Goblinhold Exploration Edict A7/O9
General Summary
Milo, Rhal , Braskan and Asriel met together in the Last Stand Tavern in Fjordhaven to discuss a job to clear some land for Goblinhold. The decision made to do the job, they broke off to buy supplies for the journey, then travelled through The Sovereignty to Warhaven. From there, they headed to Cauldron on foot. There, they headed to the Ring of Rage Arena to get drinks. While there, a half-orc stepped into the ring and yelled out to see if anyone was willing to challenge him. Having had a few too many to drink, Rhal stepped forward and accepted the challenge. He had to remove his armour, but the two of them stepped toe-to-toe to fight. The rest of the party were quick to make bets. In the ring, an announces said that Mogorok the Skull Crusher would be fighting Rhal the 'Anticlimactically Named'. The two of them bare-knuckle boxed to the cheers of the crowd. In the end, they knocked each other out, nulling all bets. After the fight, Mogorok the Skull Crusher bought Rhal a drink.
The next morning, the party headed into the hills north of Cauldron. After a couple of hours, they came across a group of formian workers dragging a felled tree. While the party tried to discuss if they were going to talk or fight, Milo fired his crossbow, killing one of them. Soon after they killed the workers, a pair of warriors arrived, seeking to take their revenge. After the fight, the party decided to head north, seeking more formians. After four hours they found more formian warriors. Soon after they defeated the warriors, the party was attacked by a formian taskmaster with a handful of workers. The taskmaster managed to inflict Braskan with confusion, effectively putting him out of the fight. Then, it managed to poison both Asriel and Rhal . In the process, it nearly killed Asriel. After finally killing it, Rhal mercifully ended Asriel's suffering. When he came to, Braskan sought to take revenge on Rhal for killing Asriel. Unfortunately for Braskan, he failed to kill Rhal before he ran up to him and killed him. After this, the surviving members of the party stripped the items off of their dead companions and buried them where they died. They then headed back to Cauldron to report the work they had done. Having collected their reward, they returned to Fjordhaven.
