Crown of the Kobold King - Epilogue
General Summary
Having won over many kobolds to fight the Kobold King, Richter wished to return to the Crucible to collect these new allies and recover the kobold young left behind in the hatchery after the daring rescue of the gnome and human children of Falcon's Hollow. Furthermore, Gavel Kreed had promised a reward to any who brought proof of more of the Crucible's denizens being slain, so Gwen and Garth were happy to join.
Oppressive as ever, the gloom of Darkmoon Vale did yield one surprise upon their return: a dead adventurer with his brains bashed in, apparently by one of the animated dwarven goblins he had looted. The party was happy to loot the looter after destroying the animated object.
In the Crucible, the party expressed a desire to clear the dungeon entirely, but that desire left Richter after Kerrdremak was slain by shocker lizards. Instead, the party decided to proceed, only slaying those in their way, such as the stirges in the barracks and the dire rats guarding a puzzle room they decided to leave alone. Gwen did make an abortive attempt to destroy the caged undead in the ossuary, however.
In the Warrens below, the party dispatched the last remaining Crown zealots guarding (or perhaps imprisoning) the kobold midwife and the Truescale offspring. Finding the hatchery cooperative, the "prophet of Bahamut" and his crew led the blue kobols, red kobold ex-slaves, the midwife, and the whelps carrying eggs to their new home in Draconia throught the portal in Trader's Cusp. Their journey complete, each of the party members returned home.

[5,000 gp] 500 platinum pieces from the Logging Consortium
[160gp] masterwork leather armor
[315gp] masterwork longsword
[120 gp ] ancient gold dwarven goblet set with fire opals
[60 gp each] 2x broken ancient dwarven goblet (Craft DC 15, 24 gp to repair, and downtime; see Craft skill)
Experience:
Garth (4): 2,335 XP = 200 (shiny smash) + 400 (a shocking encounter, to say the least) + 333 (stirge-ery) + 135 (a dire rat situation) + 1,200 (The Last Slurk) + 67 (convinced midwife to let the party escort the whelps and eggs to Draconia)
Gwen (4): 2,335 XP
Richter (4): 2,335 XP
Alignment:
No shifts.
Empire:
Falcon's Hollow receives +1 Loyalty for adventurers partially clearing or removing all kobolds from the surrounding sub-region.
Silver City receives -1 Order from receiving kobold refugees (5x kobold warriors, 3x kobold miners, a kobold midwife, and 6x kobold whelps carrying a total of 12 eggs).
Current Events:
Silver City is currently experiencing a housing crisis as kobolds continue to flood into the city from across Pandora, lured by promises of safety and "shiny-good-good." Ramshackle shacks have been erected outside the city walls in flagrant violation of zoning laws. Shiny things, some even valuable, have begun going missing. Possibly related, the Havens' spoon shortage has made its way to Draconia, as well. Silver City is effectively suffering from Devastation 1 until the crisis is resolved.
