Attack the Sovereignty
General Summary
Fosco decided it was time someone did something about Nihilus’ growing power in Pandora. A small band of adventurers, “Fosco’s Four” headed to Willow Enclave to do a bit of reconnaissance. After walking around the foreign quarter and passing by the barracks, the adventurers decided the best way for them to cause a thorn in Nihilus’ side was to take out the Watchtower on the outskirts of the settlement.
Bombo engaged the two ratfolk guards with distracting conversation, allowing Fnor and Fosco to sneak up behind them, while Pagan played lookout. Despite Fnor’s best efforts not to kill either of them, one of the guards died from an arrow. The other guard was kept alive and later interrogated by Fosco and Bombo’s cohort, Gilbert.
Bombo attacked the tower till it was ready to fall and then all but Fnor made their getaway. After the party was out of sight, a bull rush from Fnor’s mount sent the tower to the ground.
On the way back to Fjordhaven, Fosco played “bad cop”, terrifying the snot out of the poor ratfolk, while Gilbert was the “good cop” with his southern charm. The ratfolk guard didn’t know much but was able to confirm that there are no The Sovereignty troops currently stationed in Willow Enclave. Gilbert convinced the ratfolk to return to Fjordhaven with them, Bombo offering him a home at the Military Academy.
Pagan offered to take the body of the deceased guard to be resurrected but Fnor put his foot down that the corpse was coming with him to Honshu.
The citizens of Willow Enclave are perplexed as to why a Hippogriff would attack a watchtower.
