Overview and history of Fratania
Fratania is a small republic along the coast of pearls, once founded by a group of merchant settlers heralding from the Greylan Dominance in 934 pc, but due to the attention of a large violent force of Steel-Heathen vikings around the turn of the millennia, they were forced under the control of the Dominance in 1003 pc, as a necessity for continued survival.
The southern porttown of Downwarren have quickly become one of the largest tradecenters along the coast, because of its proximity to Nadir and Argon. While the northern capital of Jadetown have access to a resource heavy platinium mine. These two cities make the pillars of the republic, as the foundation of its economy through trade.
Beneath the governing houses lies a number of political factions, that sway the tide of decisions being made, each one representing the different cultural and social groups within the sphere of the republic.

Government
Though Fratania is apart of the Greylan Dominance it operates with a large amount of autonomy, through the 4 founding houses and their relativ patriarchs, as a merchant republic. The Zurichs, The Gormans, The Keltins and The Parlmarks. Culture and Religion
The majority of Fratania's population is dwarven, with a vast number of different races having mixed in since its founding. Because of its proximity to the Greylans, Fratania is considered under the flux of Eternum and the Well of Gravity, though as a recently settled piece of territory, a lot of Elisian settlers have brought their faith to its shores as well. There is no strict religious or cultural guidlines, making the republic a hybrid of cultures, drawing in a lot of people in search of opportunity in freedom. The primary flow of Fratania's hybrid-culture is coin and trade. This mantra has since gathered the attention of different mercenary, merchant and adventure factions, like the Dwarven Traders Federation or the Reapers Wake. A wast amount of underground criminal activity is known to touch upon most of the various coin and deals made within the larger cities. One such major organisation is The Styx. Who is known to control a large amount of the coin flow and underground activity in the Republic.History
