Quick History

The Harrowsphere archipelago is a group of islands a ways out from the Coast of Pearls, it was discovered rather recently by a group of dwarven explorers from the Republic of Fratania in 992 pc. Since a large amount of trade routes traverse this part of the Wörneternal Sea without having encountered any land in the area for the past 600 years, it is hypothesised that the archipelago was risen from its watery grave within a coupe of years of discovery, against common natural law. Making it one of the many strange instances of the supernatural since the Collision 992 years prior.
That made the discovery even more curious and attracted a large amount of explorers and researchers from all over the world to the area, and a race to settle and colonise these strange dots of land in the sea began.
The wealth of activity drew the unwanted attention of Steel-Heathen Vikings, that in 1001 pc started raiding the coasts of both the nearby nations and the recently settled islands. They named it the Harrowsphere curse, as many of the now vulnerable settlements became victims of horrific occurrences, not only related to the vikings, but something all together more unsettling. Rapports of suicides, husks of people, ghosts and monsters streamed out from the Harrowsphere, until all went dark.
When the Vikings was beaten and calm once again reigned, the rumours had already taken to the winds and nobody have dared settle the islands since.
Today, as with so many lost places, the Harrowsphere Archipelago is seldom visited. It is known to be cursed and so it's only targeted by the brave and foolhardy explorers that dare venture into its lap willingly, in hopes of discovering whatever treasures and fortunes that lies within.
