Alliance, the city Arkus helped found in order to unite the efforts of the Dracolian tribes, was now besieged by him.

Arkus was not just a powerful warrior or successful general, he was also a keen and charismatic politician. Alliance was not a difficult siege. Of those of the congress present, half of them supported fighting for Arkus to prevent another invasion/colonization effort of Dracolia. The others did not have the power to stand up to him. And forces were scattered since there were no clear threats to them. Arkus used his Red Legion, a massive force of warforged, to defeat and discourage any opposition within Alliance. Once he felt he had full control over Alliance, and therefore the tribes, he left the Red Legion in Alliance, under the command of one of his captains, and returned to his citadel.
