The Pantheon of Pakkiila

This article describes the different types of divinity and the celestially aligned that appear within Pakkiila. Please enjoy your research into the subject, I've worked hard to ensure its accuracy.

Divine Descendants

Our first type of celestials and those adjacent are the descendants of higher beings. All Aasimar, Tieflings, and Cambions fall under this category by technicality, seeing as they have celestial or infernal heritage, but officially aren't counted as this.
Divine Descendants, henceforth referred to as "Descendants", are the children, or descend from said children, of Demi-Gods. Descendants lack any sort of immortality. The further removed from divinity one gets in the bloodline, the less likely powers are and the shorter lifespans get.
All Descendants will display markings, signifying their heritage. Each god has a unique marking that Demi-Gods and Descendants alike will inherit. However, the further a bloodline muddles with mortals the less intricate these markings will get.

Celestials & Fiends

Celestials and Fiends are the next of the hierarchy of the pantheon. These creatures vary quite wildly, but all tend to one or two unifying features: All serve a higher being of some kind, and many are mostly ageless beings.

Deities

Deities are ascended mortals, their purpose to represent and guide their species. Having lived millennia ago, they are chosen based on how significant they were to their people in life.
Deities may be reincarnated in times of crisis and will deliver prophecies if prompted. Otherwise, Deities are functionally dead mortals. Not many choose to worship them, and they don't quite wish for such things. In death, they simply want to rest.

Demi-Gods

Demi-Gods are the children of the Gods. They are immortal, and often have unique powers or domains that they rule over. These powers or domains can reflect their parent, but it's certainly not unheard of for a god to be entirely different from their divine heritage.
All Demi-Gods can feign death, but not truly die unless a mortal goes through a hell of a lot of hoops to make it happen. And truly, why oh why would someone go through all that trouble to kill a Demi-God?
Demi-Gods can have followers or clerics but aren't as widespread as their parents. Typically these worshippers will not have dedicated churches, often replacing such things with only a shrine and local meet-ups.

Fensilvans

Fensilvans, though not these beings' true name, are entities masked in mystery. They are more cosmically significant than I care to admit, and yet they are confined to the abstract realm they call home. As such, they often use mortals as messengers or hosts as well as creating Warlocks.
Fensilvans range from the outright terrifyingly malicious to the comfortingly benevolent, and nobody truly knows their limits. For all we know, they could be able to topple gods if given enough power. I pray that we never get an answer.

Gods

Gods are... Well, they are gods! They are the end-all-be-all of divinity as far as Pakkilla is concerned, as they are the ones who settled upon this planet and fostered the life that sprung up.
That is to say, this is as far as we know. Are there gods for the gods? Pray tell, is there another greater being out there? Or, dare I imagine, something that could kill our divine protectors? I surely hope not.
