Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Xava was a reddish brown Otterborn male, who stood about average height for an Otterborn. He had long whiskers that ended up looking like a beard in his old age, aided by his greying fur around his snout.
Apparel & Accessories
Xava wore a dark blue kimono style robe, with a simple leather belt around his waist. He would often wear a Cespalt chain around his neck, given to him when he was named Earl.

Personal history
Xava gained renown, and is still spoken about highly, because of his work bringing Sprigwood and Waterine together. The two villages had co-inhabbited the Violet forest for generations, but when the Elders of Springwood closed the forest to outsiders, around 250 years before the Draconic resurgence, they inadvertantly sealed in the Otterborn in the forest as well as themselves. This forced issolation by an outside group led to a lot of animosity towards the Firbolgs of Springwood, animosity that continued long after the two and a half decade long issolation.
After the Draconic Resurgence, that happened whislt Xava was a child, he became driven to make sure his people and the nearby Springwood would come together again. He worked tierlessly with Landon Talinor, Elder of Springwood, to make sure the two communities would thrive together. They established new trading lines between the towns, Springwood aiding Waterine in establishing new fishing ports along the coastline to the north of the forest, and Waterine helped Springwood cultivate new land in the forest for farming.
During this time, Xava was elected Earl of Waterine for his devotion to the community, and his drive to bring the two communities together. A statue was carved from the one of the Violet Oaks in the forest and erected in Waterine. He was also given a home in Springwood, where he would eventually pass away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by friends, family and his partner in his efforts, Elder Talinor.
