The Claymore

The Claymore is a ship designated as a Privateer vessel under the leadership of Captain Crack. Orgininally being a Dragontide Brigantine that Crack won in a game of cards against its original captain, The Claymore has undergone some upgrades under Crack's leadership. It's original sails being replaced with Polantian Silk sails, reknown for their speed and weather resistance. The figurehead of the ship, orginally being a soilder pointing a large claymore forwards has been replaced with a Warforged pointing a claymore forwards, symbolic of Crack's existance as a sentient construct.   The ship has been retrofitted with a large cargohold on its mid-deck, making it a favoured ship for the Unified Rularian Council for moving weapons, supplies or trade goods, either between Rularian nations, or further abroad. Noteably on trips to Venka, whilst not being officially under the command of the Polantian Navy, the Claymore has become very close with the small group of Polantian fleet known as the Royals. The Royals, is comprised of the Elf, under the command of Captain Yara Longstem, the Morigan under the commander of Capatin Cailu Longstem and the Crimison Rites, under the command of Captain Brazess Erleth. This small fleet gaining the name of the Royals due to the fact that all the captains are a part of the royal family, Yara and Cailu being two cousins of the Queen, and Brazess being her sister. The Claymore became an honourary member of this fleet during a trip to Venka when the fleet came under attack from rouge Triton pirates inhabbiting the seas between Rularia and Venka. During this battle the Claymore took on three ships at once, and once boarded by the fourth, overcame the pirates, and saved the life of Brazess and her crew.   Other noteable crew members of the Claymore are Gillor Illeri, first mate, and Kienva Eagledawn, Quartermaster.

Propulsion

The Claymore is propelled by 3 masts, with Polantian Silk sails, allowing the ship to be lighter, and faster; Polantian Silk revered worldwide for their speed, strength and weather resistance.
