Gatoro Ships

The Gatoro Ships have become a stable of Erendocian life post Draconic Resurgence, and slowly being intergrated into navy's and trading companies in Rularia and Venka. Over the near 200 years since Ms. Millix Gatoro first built the prototype ship, the Gatoro Ships have had many different classifactions and improvements made to their catalogue of ships.

Gatoro Frigate

The first commercially available ship built by Gatoro. Powered via four Miloran Crystal chunks on it's hull, using the Gatoro Energy Manipulation of the crystals to power the arcane ruins carved into the ships hull, which allows it to sail through the sky.
The Frigate allows for an accompaniment of 11 cannon's on both its port and starboard sides, with two rear facing cannon's on its aft and two swivel guns mounted on its pilot deck. On the bow of the ship the frigate comes equipped with ballista, allowing for chained bolts to fire into enemy ships for boarding. 
The ship has two main masts, with large sails, and 4 wing sails - two on its portside and two on its starboard. On the aft of the ship is a large sail that is used as a rudder through the air, allowing the ship to turn. On its bow is a smaller mast, and extra sails. The frigate was the original ship designed, most of its propulsion coming from these sails like a waterborn ship.

Power Generation

All Gatoro ships are powered using Miloran crystals, large chunks of crystal powered and its magic maintained by the Captain or Engineers of the ship. Some commercial ships will also have the passengers sign wavers, allowing the crew of the ship to use some of their magic to power the crystal. 
Besides the Miloran crystals, all propellers on a ship have emergency Spark Glass cores, each core providing enough power for the propellers to make one landing. Though each needs replacing after, akin to airbags in a car.

Propulsion

Propelled by a mixture of propellers and crystal energy jets, allowing for vertical take off and landing, as well as easier manoeuvrability in tight spaces and low speeds. The propellers act more as a back-up and failsafe for the crystal energy jets, being used to slowly lower a Gatoro ship to land or water in the event of a failure in the Miloran crystals.

Communication Tools & Systems

All Gatoro ships are equipped with the latest version of a Lightbox (See Related Technologies), allowing them to communicate between other ships, and to port when needed. Aboard the ships the Lightbox is hooked up to smaller receptors all over the ship, allowing the Captain to relay orders from the helm easier than ever.
