Cult of Salvation
The Cult of Salvation are a collective of beings who seek the eradication of the Dragons that exist across Oxdara. Created by the mysterious Carrion, the Cult have agents across Oxdara working and finding ways to achieve the end goal of the eradication of Dragon kind.
The cult has existed in the background of Oxdara's political world for many years, originally having only a few small leaders of Erendocian states. These leaders, under the guide of Carrion, sought to discredit and find cracks to widen, the end goal at this point, to remove Oasis as a recognised part of Erendoc, trying to have Oasis, and the Dragons there, be separated from the mortal states. These efforts grew to naught, having Carrion shift their focus to establishing a small army, at their beck and call, to use in their true goal, the death of Dragonkind.
Carrion took to a location that could be hidden from Dragonkind, developing protections against the immense divination powers of the Eternal Dragons, and the three Primordial Dragons that sit in the sky, in their avatar forms - the Sun, and the two moons, Hola and Preida. To do so Carrion established a monastery, hidden in the Eterna Hills, in the The North Rularian Frontier. The monastary training Carrion's army in combat and magic for all cult members, but for some special divisions in spycraft, naval combat, politics, so they can go out into the world to work at destabilising governments and regions by coaxing leaders and advisors towards the Salvation way of thinking.
A large part of the cults protection all the members are a part of the cult willingly, there is no hypnosis or mind control, protecting them from powers that would break the cults hold on its members. All the members of the cult are a part because they have known tragedy at the hands of a Dragon, or see the danger of these creatures being in control of countries or states.
Structure
Across the Cult Carrion has various commanders to govern and lead the lower ranking cultist members. Under Carrion are 6 commanders, each working to destablise the polictial spheres of Oxdara, across the three continents. These commanders are:
- Pria, Commader of Salvations spy's - who wears a Black Dragon mask
- Eltheam, Commander of Salvations political emmisaries and vassals - who wears a Ruby Dragon mask
- Trixia, Commander of Salvations research and scientific endeavors - who wears a White Dragon mask
- Ill'iar, Commander of Salvations weapons, magic and enchantments - who wears a Silver Dragon mask
- Radiant River (River), Commander of Salvations farms and agriculture - who wears a Bronze Dragon mask
- Zinren, Commander of Salvations extra-planar travels - who wears a Moonstone Dragon mask
