The Amsterdamned
Located at the canal belt in Amsterdam, the Amsterdamned is a hotel existing out of a dozen canal houses merged into a single monstrosity. On its eastern side it faces a clean canal with sluices protecting it from the toxic wasteland, while the western side faces a 'dirty canal', which fills with toxic waste every time the tide comes in.
This duality is also represented in the rooms the hotel sells. Its eastern half is filled with luxurious rooms, and large rooms rentable for events. The western half is a cheap coffin hotel, with rooms often called 'shoeboxes'. The two halves are separated by the storage areas used by both faces of the Amsterdamned.
Despite coming across as a chimera constructed by Frankenstein, the Amsterdamned is well-known for its comfort. Even its shoebox rooms have soft beds that allow people to have a comfortable night of sleep. If you're going to need a place to rest your feet and nothing else, there's no better coffin hotel in all of Amsterdam. Just don't enter through the luxurious side, unless you want to pay an arm and a leg. Literally.
