In the coldest reaches of Ainn's Belt, warmth isn't something to take for granted. From growing food to heating houses, controlling the temperature is very important. One of the most useful ways to do that is with fireglass. Made from crystals found in the Southern Deserts, fireglass has the unique property of storing heat. If left in the sun all day, a single pane of fireglass can heat a home for an entire night.

Fireglass is most commonly found in fist-sized crystals of varying colors. It grows in the deserts to the south, appearing almost like a flower springing from the sand.
