Dreamplum

The Dreamplum is a unique fruit characterized by its deep purple, velvety skin and sweet, juicy flesh with a pale purple hue. Consuming the Dreamplum is said to evoke vivid and fantastical dreams, making it a sought-after delicacy. The tree itself is adorned with heart-shaped leaves that shimmer in the light, and its bark bears a silvery sheen.
Dreamplums are exceptionally rare and are found only in close proximity to naturally occurring fey crossings. These crossings, often hidden within ancient forests or secluded glades, are points where the veil between the material plane and the Feywild is thin. The trees seem to draw some unknown sustenance from the proximity to fey magic, and they cannot be cultivated successfully outside of these specific locations. The presence of a Dreamplum tree is often a sign that a fey crossing is nearby, though the crossing itself may be invisible or otherwise hidden.  
Dreamplums are prized for their unique properties. They are often eaten fresh, offering a burst of sweet flavor and the promise of extraordinary dreams. They are also used in the creation of expensive wines and liquors, which are said to induce particularly potent and memorable dreams. Beyond culinary uses, Dreamplums are a key ingredient in certain magical potions. They are most commonly used in potions of dreamwalking, allowing the drinker to enter the dreams of others, and potions of enhanced creativity, inspiring vivid imagery and imaginative thought.
