Dragonborn

The dragonborns' origins stem from Father Time's creation of dragons and their impacts on humans creating the first dragonborn. The result of a dragon's magical presence led to the creation, not by interspecies relationships.
There are half-dragons that are similar in appearance and created by interspecies relationships, but they tend to lack humanity, have wings, and have more magical prowess connecting more with their draconic sides rather than mortal, unlike dragonborn.
Dragonborn are often bulky figures standing slightly taller than humans and living slightly longer as well. They have an average lifespan of about 125 years. Dragonborn, like their origins, are covered in scales that vary in color. This color is associated with their elemental power that they are naturally resistant to and can spew from their breath. While most dragonborn have tails it is not uncommon to see ones without, due to natural genetic variation.
Traditional dragonborn have a strong sense of culture. Their culture is often described as rigid by outsiders but is more accurately described as structured. Their practices and celebrations are very purposeful and exact. Many dragonborn who appreciate the traditional practices work tirelessly to keep the ancient knowledge of their culture intact. Their celebrations are often based around the moon cycle and take in aspects of their innate elemental understanding and connection with the elemental planes. The ceremonies include practiced dance, loose woven attire with strong color symbology, and often revolve around a central monument, most commonly a bonfire.
