Ancient island city beset from sea and grave

In a region known to be close to the Underworld lies the island city of Mymidon. From the rocky cliffs in which it was built in the Age of Heroes, it once dominated the sea, unassailable. But when the Ostian empire conquered the area and brought peace to the seas, its once strategic position lost its value. With it, the city lost its wealth and strength, but never its pride.
