Servid

Slender winged-felines that reside in the deserts and steppes of Korska. They are believed to be distant relatives to the Corvelots who have each evolved differently to thrive in their respective environments. Servids evolved to be larger and more lean, allowing them to run and sprint at insane speeds. Their wings are much longer than a cocelots but much more narrow, as a result servids can only use their wings to glide and only over relatively short distances. Usually after jumping from a rock/tree or when leaping after sprinting up to their maximum speed. Servids can run and maintain speeds of roughly 40mph and can even sprint up to 70 mph in bursts of speed. Servids are masters of stealth using their slender bodies to silently navigate and glide between the many rocks and foliage of the deserts and craggy steppes of Korska. The combination of their stealth, incredible speed, and ability to silently glide over large distances make them phenomenal predators. They have perfected their hunting strategy: ambushing their prey off guard (either with their sheer speed or gliding), pinning their prey down with its claws and immediately followed tearing into the prey's throat with their razor sharp teeth. Servids are very adept hunters and have evolved to thrive in their habitat.   Servids are about 30-36 inches in height at the shoulder. In total length and weight, males range from about 6½-7ft from head to tail and ~140-160lbs with females of a smaller 5½-6 ft and ~100-120lbs. Their tail is usually about 1⁄3 of their total length.    Servids are solitary hunters, only living in groups when raising their young.
