Chaos Manus
Chaos Manus is the form a Magi's manus takes if Vis has been used as a "fuel source" alone or alongside their Od . This version of manus is usually the same as the Magi's regular manus only far more powerful, chaotic, and difficult to control. Physically the manus takes on a deep purple or black color. Their manus will move erratically or wildly, almost as if having a mind of its own. Chaos Manus is extremely dangerous for any magi and nearly impossible to control.
Chaos Manus is most commonly formed when a Magi loses control of themselves or is suffering extreme emotions while attempting to harness their Od, or when a magi is attempting to force their manus without enough Od left in their body. In either of these cases Vis in the surrounding area will begin to flow directly into their body, mixing with their Od and into their Manus. The more Vis that enters the body, the less control the magi has. Once there is more Vis than Od the vis begins to attack and consume the remaining Od. The most common result of this is the Magi's manus forming while still inside his body (For example a Magi's fire manus activating and burning him alive from the inside out.)
There are a few examples through out the legends of Ostara of Magi who were able to harness the power of chaos manus and use it without being destroyed. Those few magi who had this ability were called Abysswalkers and are feared for great reason. There are only two confirmed Abysswalkers known to history: The first was Atreus, who lived during the First Era, with his unrivaled power and kind conviction to do what was right and just was able to quell the squabbling foundling nations and usher in an age of great peace and prosperity. The second Abysswalker was the notorious Samael, the Tyrant, who nearly conquered all of Ostara using his horrifying power and who is responsible for the War of Horrors that lasted nearly 80 years. Since Samael the Abysswalker title has been infamous and feared, seen as curse of evil.
