Blinking Blades

The Blinking Blades is one of the Mythic Artifacts, forged from the Bones of the Great Serpent and the rare Obsidium material. Like all Mythic Artifacts it possesses a unique power and its own source of Od which is added to wielders. 
The Blinking Blades are actually two different weapons that can be combined into one. The first of the two weapons is that of a long double-edged dagger with a small hilt. The second half of the artifact is that of a single-edge shortsword with a very slight curve to it. The two weapons can be combined at their pommels. Fusing together into a double sided sword that can be thrown similar to a javelin. When combined the weapon naturally has better aerodynamics and is extremely accurate if the wielder knows what they are doing.
The power of the Blinking Blades is that of teleportation. Once the wielder has bonded to both halves of the artifacts its power is unlocked. If the wielder is holding either of the two blades when they are separated then he can teleport himself and anything he is touching to the location of the other blade. The more mass he teleports or the further the distance the more it will drain him. The other type of teleportation comes from when the blades are combined. When the combined blades are thrown or leave the touch of the wielder, the wielder has 10 seconds to teleport himself and anything he is touching to the new location of the combined blades. If over 10 seconds passes the wielder will not be able to teleport until he touches the blades again and resets the timer.
