Shared customary codes and values
Never enter a stranger's home without an invitation but never make your friends need an invitation for yours. Strike those who rouse your wrath as those the gods themselves were angry with you. Be excellent in your crafts or do not craft.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
On the thirteenth day from birth, one is introduced to the entire extended family. Everyone in attendance gives a token for you to keep for your childhood. Losing or breaking the token brings bad luck on yourself and the giver.
Coming of Age Rites
On the hundredth birthday, all tokens given to you for your childhood are returned along with handcrafted tokens of thanks. One is an adult when the last token of thanks is given.
Funerary and Memorial customs
One is burned in their dwelling and their ashes are used to line windows and doors to ward off spirits who would seek to torment the mourning family. Prayers are said to the departed's chosen deity with a prayer of protection to one's own deity as well. Tokens of appreciation for all the departed did in life are placed into a coffin and dusted with the recollected ashes and placed in a family crypt.
Common Taboos
Disruption of the dead. Insulting another's craft. Slighting one's own family.
