Session 45 - 33rd of Mene 948 ACW Dimday

General Summary

Group talked it out with Sahougin after Hobble killed one and were able to get one of them to guide them into the cavern of Menesis. Were told to look out for something dangerous in the area. Went through the tower and as they did Soli got Kendra back to being indifferent to Quinn. Quinn gave her pipes of haunting and she also volunteered to hold onto the scroll. Group also found six bottles of wine worth between 600-1,000 gp. Hobble opened one for the group to drink, Soli has the other five. Got to the top floor and made a mental connection with Menesis and heard that he was regretful of his actions in the past and wished to be let out of the fail-safe. Found the Tome of Absolute Knowledge and used up all three questions immediately. 

1. Rahmiel "Can someone cast silence?" A: "Yes there are those in the building who can cast the spell." 
2. Hobble "What's going on?" A: "I am the Tome of Absolute Knowledge and can answer any question you may have."
3. Hobble "Seriously?" A: "Yes, I have that power. But now the magic will leave my pages."

Group dispersed after that, Rowan pulled out the divine weed; she nearly died, Hobble got a charlie horse in both legs, Rahmiel raged for a minute and Kendra was able to detect thoughts for a minute. Kendra learned that Soli left her people behind. The two talked for a bit with Kendra admitting to selling half-dwarfs to the Empire of Irialorn. The pair talked for a bit longer and ended with Soli threatening Kendra for having delved into her mind.
