Session 19 - 11th of Thellonde Midday 948 ACW

General Summary

Team 3 regrouped after the leyline encounter and Hexan took 4 points of exhaustion. That night, while they were sleeping Orion, came to Hexan in his dream and asked him to join his cult and bring the book. Hexan told him he wanted to find his own way and Orion told him he'd give him a day to think it over. In the morning Hexan offered his ring of protection to Fryer and Adam, and Fryer accepted. They made it to the town of Red Hawk by the end of the day and decided it would be best to camp out just outside of the town. 
The next day while they are traveling they come upon a group of travelers, some of whom Fryer was familiar with, who had broken their cart and were blocking the road. While they helped the group get back on the road, Team 3 learned that a new mage had opened up a school up in the Cobalt Peaks and the travelers were heading there to join the school. Fryer sarcastically wished them all good luck and the group kept moving. That night Orion came to Hexan once more and told him that he and the cult were in the Raven Mountains.
The next day Hexan told the other two about the dreams and that it would be best to keep clear of the mountains. Fryer told him that it would be best to not keep information like that to himself and tell the group when it happens immediately. As the day went on Adam decided to look the Celestial Book of Ossin over and wasn't able to fully understand it. He then showed it to Fryer who was able to decipher the text. He found that the book was a major piece in bringing a god back to life, and more importantly that the book could only be used once a century, Fryer felt it was best that he hold onto the book from now on. 
The next morning Adam's curse became far more severe, the dark specter coming within 30 ft of him and psychically attacking him for an hour. Before they left the area of Northhaven Adam sent a note to Tanor saying "Have you heard of a trance that attacks you? Scholarly interest." 
The group spent the next seven days on the main road in the hopes of staying far away from the cult, reaching the city of Dary with some amount of ease. While on the road it was decided that Adam should be the one to wear the ring. Once in the city, Fryer picked up a new breastplate. 
They then spent another ten days on the road, making it into the Darkwood forest and finding their way to the Lucanis tribe.
