Haisea

The Queen of the Depths

Haisea, Queen of the Depth, has been known to appear either as an immense sea elf with a crown and spear of ice and hair made of water. On other occasions, people have claimed to see her as a beautiful warrior with red hair, a golden breastplate, and a dark blue-green dress ready to enact revenge on those who have gone against her wishes. Haisea watches over oceans, seas, lakes, and any other form of water, as well as any that protect her waters. She is wife to the god Solis and mother to sons Syrus and Talouc.

Tenets of Faith

The sea can be a savage place and those who travel it have found it best to call upon Haisea for aid. Haisea is the protector and watcher of the oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, and any other bodies of water. She sets out to keep all forms of water safe for those who travel, work, and live within them. Since the goddess has been reborn she and Melora have refound their friendship in protecting nature as a whole.
The Queen asks her followers to not only treat the waters of Ossin with care and respect but to care for all living things. While Haisea's devotees view her as a kind goddess, they also know her favor should not be taken for granted. Prayers to Haisea are as much to placate her as to honor her. Fisherfolk, sailors, net-makers, pearl divers, and lobster harvesters who adore and fear her know to keep watch out for her watery wrath.
Haisea's clerics usually choose well tailored attire of ocean blue and white. They tend to live by bodies of water and focus on keeping the waters safe and clean. They wish to stop pollution from going into water and bless those who would be traveling within them. Should they find someone attempting to spoil the waters they have sworn to protect her clerics have been known to call down the power of the goddess upon them.
Temples of Haisea are few and far between given her recent rebirth, with far more shrines to having been built by docks and large lakes. The few temples that have been built for her are formed from dark stone and driftwood, with them taking on the look of a sunken ship to remind all who follow her that as much as the sea can give it can also take away.
