The Raging Fiend
Lord of Nessus, Prince of Evil, Supreme Master of the Nine Hells, Asmodeus, the former ruler of the Nine Hells, the god was the patron of oppression and power, the greatest devil, and Lord of the Ninth. Asmodeus's true form was that of a wingless scaled serpent hundreds of miles long. His form's sheer size made it impossible for him to meet and enter into conversations with with others forcing him to create humanoid-looking avatars, that of a slim, charismatic, red-skined man, over 13 feet tall, all while keeping the location of his true form secret. As the ruler of the Nine Hells, Asmodeus ensured his throne would be left in capable hands in the form of his sons Moloch, The Black Curse and Mephistopheles should anything happen to him.
In the years preceding the Cosmic War it is said that the Raven Queen struck down the god and took the domain of death for herself and left the hells in the hands of Mephistopheles.

Asmodeous ruled the entire plane of the Nine Hells, acting as Suraf's mouth piece. His seat of power of power was Nessus, the ninth layer. His serpentine body lay at the bottom of a rift called the Serpent's Coil. Followers of the god see themselves as aspiring tyrants, forming secret society and cults aiding members gain positions of power in all civilized land. Their goal being world domination on an organizational level and obtaining unlimited power on an individual level.
Clerics and followers of the god do not build grand temples or vast halls, instead preferring to stick to hidden dungeons, lost crypts, and secret lairs.
