Arcane Splinter

A 2nd level spell under the Lymrah School of magic that allows its user to make small darts of arcane energy used to attack opponents.

Effect

You hurl a shard of arcane energy that fractures into many splinters. Choose a point you can see within range. Each creature within 5 feet of that point must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d8 piercing damage. 
At Higher Levels: Add a d8 to damage rolls for each spell slot above 2nd.

Material Components

A thin piece of metal held in the palm of the hand used to cast the spell.
