Smatriven

Smatrivens look like standard corvids but are capable of speech, and are mentally equal to an average human. They admire shiny objects such as jewelry, but tend to wear little as it impedes flight.

Their anatomy resembles an ancient Earth raven.

Ecology and Habitats

Smatrivens are perhaps the most wide spread species on Ospur. Wherever there is a ruin, tree or stony crevasse a Smatriven will find a way to inhabit.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Smatrivens hoard foraged food. They make jerky and small nut cakes to better preserve thier finds. If pressed they will hunt or fish for thier meals.

Smatrivens society is focused on strong matriarchal families groups. A clutch mother rules over her clutchlings.
