Utraria
A forested, moderately mountainous stretch of land, southern Aewish. Home to the cities Mondwell, Shadowfen, Tottenham, and a small hamlet, Mirefield. This province once belonged to a now fallen empire, Ezai, and is the main focal point of many wars between the Empress and Ufea.
Now, Utraria is its own separate country, officially dividing itself from the Empress to be lead by Emperor Leojin of Tottenham.
Structure
Emperor
Self-explanatory, the emperor/empress is the main monarch.Royal Advisor
The second in command, typically one who is close to the monarch. While many have specialties that they tend to, they specifically overlook government policies and are often used as couriers between foreign kingdoms as a communicative device. As such, it's desired that they're diplomatic and highly charismatic.
They're given tasks that the king is too busy to handle, and are the ones to solve less notable feuds within the country, and are overseers of the other cities within Utraria.
A new royal advisor is appointed alongside the inauguration of a new emperor, as it's seen quite valuable that the advisor be close in relationship with the monarch. If one is to retire, the emperor may choose to replace them whenever they see fit. Oftentimes, the emperor's heirs will take on the advisor's reigns.
Often referred to as "Lord/Lady" or, alternatively, some may prefer "His/Her Majesty".
Military Advisor
Much like the royal advisor, a military advisor is often sent to foreign countries to aid in training, organization, and other various military activities. They're also seen as the General of the Emperor's Guard, working with the Ikhul and the mercenaries. It's required that they're strong strategists with a versatile skill set, as alongside being warriors, it's desired that they also have intimidation tactics for the purposes of disciplinary manners.
While each battalion may be assigned a maximum of two lower military advisors, both handling different duties efficiently, a General of the Emperor's Guard is higher on the hierarchy and is expected to handle their own battalion alone, and oversee the work of the entire military, and quite possibly any ally battalions.
The Court
While harder to define, the Royal Court is made up of its own hierarchy and handles feuds from within the city walls, often dealing with more simple crimes amongst the townspeople. They're often overseen by the royal advisor and are given jobs accordingly.
Territories
Once ruled by the now fallen empire Ezai, the territory is considered highly valued by both Aewish and Ufea alike, and has been war-ridden for thousands of years, being majorly held by the Empress.
Now that Utraria has seceded from the reign of the Empress and become its own government, the territory is being forcefully held.
Military
The military, Ikhul, was once the largest division in Aewish. Now that Utraria has seceded, their numbers have significantly dropped, and yet, they're still a force to be reckoned with.
