Wraith

When a Voidshaper suffers from prolonged exposure to the Void, or the Voidshaper's body and mind are too weak to manipulate it, a wraith is born with the sudden death of the Voidshaper. A wraith is one of the few undead that are created by interaction withe Void and the Elan as opposed to natural manifestations of Elan.   The wraith retains some of the Voishaper's ability to manipulate the Elan and the Void and are extremely dangerous because of this. The wraith has a never-ending hunger to consume the Elan of those individuals able to manipulate the Elan. Theurgists and Adepts alike fear running into a wraith as it usually spells doom for them.

Basic Information

Anatomy

A wraith appears as a legless floating apparition with a black shredded cloak covering the body and the face.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Wraiths can move through the Foglands and can disappear and reappear at will on Orrus. Depending on the power of the individual Voidshaper before becoming a wraith, the ability for the wraith to cast spells varies. Wraiths, like most other apparitions are ethereal and normal weapons do little to harm them.
Some individuals have the vanity to think they can control the Void. Well, I assure you, they all succumb to it one way or another. One of the more dangerous ways is dying and rising as a wraith. I pray you will never have to face one.
