Alexander Ashpool and Talia Swafford marry in a Lavish Ceremony on Eden

There has been a "dynastic marriage" between Talia Swofford, the scion and "heir" to Eden and Alexander Ashpool. The lavish ceremony was widely attended and the legislature on Eden has voted overwhelmingly to confirm Alexander Ashpool and Lady Swofford to the title of hereditary governor of the planet The newly named Margrave Ashpool confirmed that the government on Eden has agreed a treaty with the Tazzyn Empire which will see the Tazzyn construct a base on Eden.   The citizens of Eden have greeted the news with positivity feeling that the stability of the new government and the presence of a Tazzyn Naval base will make the planet far more secure   Eden is expected to join the Republic in the next five years
