Legendary Valtinist lecturer, author and leader Lidia Hassir has passed away. The 84 year old passed away after a long illness and was surrounded by friends and family.

Lidia first came to public attention in the 2450s and 2460s when her inspirational but somewhat controversial treatise on Valtinism, calling for it to become more doctrinal and easier to understand clashed with the traditional main-stream view of Valtinism. Lidia enjoyed a period of huge celebrity and her lectures regularly drew tens of thousands of people, with hundreds of thousands attending her open air events. Lidia continued to write, lecture and offer leadership to the Valtinist cause and was a close adviser to Empress Aurora Valane .   Lidia began to keep a lower profile after several threats against her life, some believed to have been made by Burning Path  who believed her stance against AI was not harsh enough. Her death will leave a void in Valtinist leadership and the Valtinist SRC Committee are meeting to decide how to fill her seat on the committee as well as how to reach out to her followers.
