Founding of the Defiant Salmon Inn

Founding

The inn was initial founded by Erin Stronggut. Although short in stature, she was an experienced builder and could recognize a financial bargain when she saw one. She chose the initial site of the inn, on a crossroads to the Blue Ice Lake and on the trade route between the Kingdom of Durgord and the Björnsen Sovereignty, extending down towards the Amiro Empire. Many caravans passed along this route, making it prone to attacks by robbers and other brigands, especially the mountain orcs to the north. This resulted in the inn being heavily fortified, just in case. On several occasions this has now saved the building.
