Founding
The founding of the earliest independent village in the valley.
Loggerton was founded in 2189 AC. Eric Strongoak was the first settler, building his cottage and the bridge across the Darnal river. He exploited the position, charging a fee for the crossing. Over time, he built an inn and from there the village developed. It is a 'major' stop for caravans heading through the valley, being the safest place for them to shelter for the night during the journey, that is, if they pay the toll.
