Sensory & Appearance
Upon entering the great hall one is greeted with a view of a giant display of gears, coils, and coils. A singular synchronised ticking is heard throughout the area, with not a single off beat pendulum.
Architecture
The most noticeable aspect of the establishment itself, is the domed Spherical entrance that transforms into a clock face upon entry, with a completely functioning representation for seconds, minutes, hours, and day of the week. The opulence of the guild was on full display, as they had a transparent glass above the clock face, that allowed it to be fully viewed, without risk of damage from outside environments.
History
As the Solvune Science and Culture Festival and Exposition ended, the elf Digheii found himself inspired to create a legacy that would last throughout each expo and beyond. He made it his ambition to create the most cutting edge timepieces that were known to Orlon. Along the way, he faced competition, as was encouraged, and he found himself becoming dedicated to his craft to the point that he began to amass a following by replicating his challenger's designs without seeing any diagrams. He'd applied for a space in the Grand Market of Ralten, and established a space where he would be able to sell his services. Within around twelve years, he founded a guild specifically for the purpose of people who were interested in the 'majesty and mystery of time'. After around fifty years or so, the guild evolved to include two additional master clockmakers, @Kilcheii, and @Aelfgear. After around one hundred years after the festival, they merged into a larger guild, which included those dedicated to Astronomy, and the Blacksmithing guild. A potential second merger with the Engineer's guild is potentially in the works.
