Locathah
Biology
Anatomy & Morphology
Locathah are vertical tripedal hexapods, with three manipulatory forelimbs at the top of the torso and three hindlimbs at the bottom of the torso used for terrestrial locomotion. Locathah have an internal skeleton composed of collagen and copper carbonate. Their vascular oxygen carrier is haemocyanin, a copper-based protein that turns bright blue when oxidized. Locathah skin has a high density of chromatophores that allow them to change their coloration and patterning at will with an incredible degree of precision and detail.Perception & Sensory Capabilities
Visual
Locathah have incredible vision, powered by a triplicate set of W-pupil eyes just behind their flower jaw. Their unusual eyes are able to pick up motion, definite shape, spatial orientation, polarization, and a vast spectrum of color ranging from deep infrared into deep ultraviolet.
Olfactory
The locathah olfactory sense is quite sensitive, not only because their head has an array of chemosensory barbels, but also thanks to the olfactory nerves in their skin.
Auditory
Locathah hearing is moderately strong, provided by a triplicate set of tympanic pouches set in the neck at the base of the flower jaw. These tympani are sensitive to frequencies covering most of the standard hearing range into the near ultrasound.
Tactile
Locathah are extremely sensitive to tactile input across their entire epidermis, though the effect is most intense in the hands, feet, and sensory barbels around the jaw.
Ecology
Geographic Origin & Distribution
Locathah achieved spaceflight after first contact, and though they have adapted to alien technology well enough, their civilization has very little interstellar reach. Overall, they are fairly rare to see outside their home star system or one of their few colony systems.Habitat & Survival Factors
The optimal survival range in a variety of factors for an unequipped locathah is rather limited, as they require abundant moisture to stay alive. However, this limitation can be easily overcome with technology, thus a properly equipped locathah can live almost anywhere in the cosmos.Civilization & Culture
The inhabitants of Seros are a largely peaceful people. Though they are among the youngest interstellar civilizations, Serodra are well known as wily merchants, matching up to the far older Azoradi in their mastery of commerce. Curious by nature, Serodra can often be found as information brokers.Major Organizations

Physical Traits
Aquatic
You breathe underwater as normal. You have a swimming speed of 40 feet and gain advantage on swimming-related Athletics rolls. You can survive outside water for up to three days at a time, but you must submerge yourself in water for a full day immediately afterward or risk suffocating. You can avoid this risk only through a specialized wetsuit or by immersing yourself in water for at least 1 hour per day.Chameleonic
You are able to change the color and pattern of your skin. For the most part this is unconscious and linked to your emotional state, but passing a WIS saving throw of DC 10 will allow you to consciously override your emotions to camouflage yourself.Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You cannot discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.360 Vision
You are keenly aware of your surroundings through three radially-arranged eyes and sensory whiskers. You cannot be surprised in combat unless the attacker is invisible, and attackers do not gain advantage from flanking you.Pilot’s Mind
You think in a more 3-dimensional way than many species, granting you advantage on all rolls for tool use with flying vehicles.Cultural Traits
