Tabalix
Tabalix are cat-folk found in most places of the world. Originally a nomadic people, Tabalix are almost as diverse and capable of adaptation as Humans are. Tabalix are named so after Tabaal, the homeland they settled in after generations of wondering from place to place. Because of this nomadic origin, Catfolk have actually settled in several places around the world, but Tabaal is widely considered to be their new "origin" in homeland.
Basic Information
Genetics and Reproduction
There are dozens of variants of Tabalix found in any part of the world, intermixed with each other. If there is a variant of cat, it's safe to assume the Tabalix have a variant of it as well; Lion, Lynx, Panther, Tiger, Leopard, and many more are all variants of this diverse race. There are very few differences between the different variants; at most, you may see size differences - Tigers tend to be larger in size whereas Panthers tend to be a little on the smaller size.
Growth Rate & Stages
While Tabalix age at the same rate as humans, they also tend to take on resonsibilty at a younger age; racially recognized as an adult at 16, same as Humans, but they are sometimes treated as adults as young as 13.
Ecology and Habitats
Tabalix are highly adaptable to any environment they settle in, though most that hail from Tabaal are more accustomed to warmer weather.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Tabalix are found all over the world of Origin,
Average Intelligence
Tabalix are smart and cunning most of the time, generally higher intelligence than the average peasant but by no means are they naturally-born-geniuses. Tabalix adapt really well to new concepts, ideas, designs, and the like - allowing them to learn quickly and adjust accordingly. With that said, not all Tabalix are so keen; those that are born and bred for combat may not be as quick to learn the more academic fields of studies as a Tabalix that was brought up to be a scholar.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Tabalix have a natural ability to see in the dark. When the light levels entering their eyes decrease to a point of being unable to see, their vision adjusts; shadows become bright and colors fade to a grey tone with only some semblance of color remaining. This allows them to see in the dark almost as if it were day, but at the cost of color and a little clerity.
Genetic Ancestor(s)
Lifespan
100 at most.
Average Height
Typical Tabalix heights range from 5'4 ft. to 6'8 ft. and average 6'2 ft.
Average Weight
The most muscular of Tabalix typically weigh as little as 140 lbs.
The average typically weighs around 125 lbs.
Average Physique
The average physique of a Tabalix very much resembles Humans. With that said, a larger number of Tabalix, largely depending on the variant, grow to be either bigger and more muscular or smaller and slimmer than Humans who stay pretty close to their average physique. The largest portion of Tabalix will, however, stay similar to Humans, in that regard.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Tabalix rarely display colors beyond what you would see in the natural world of cats. Patterns, on the other hand, sometimes take on a more beautiful and almost "designed" appearance.
