Significant events in a goliaths life can lead to them being given titles as honourifics, they are usually related to a great feat or accomplishment but on occasion are bestowed after shameful defeats or terrible actions. A goliath can be granted a new title, replacing their old one, this symbolises major change or large milestone in their life.

Beauty Ideals

To goliaths beauty is not measured by softness or delicate features, but by the presence of strength, resilience, and the marks of battle. To a goliath, the most desirable traits are those that display one’s power and endurance, both physically and in spirit.

Courtship Ideals

Among the goliaths, courtship is not a matter of whispered affections or delicate gestures—it is a trial of worth and a proving of strength. A suitor must demonstrate their prowess, not just in battle, but in endurance, skill, and resilience. Courtship often begins with contests of strength—wrestling matches, sparring duels, or feats of endurance, where each partner pushes the other to their limits. It is not uncommon for a prospective couple to leave their first meeting bloodied and bruised, for to love a goliath is to embrace both challenge and struggle.
