Ulric Frehty

Seeker Ulric Frehty (a.k.a. Rick)

Ulric Frehty was the second Seeker of the first Crusade. He became the Seeker late in 10683 TYA when his teacher Xeph Idiru was found dead on Tenebrarie. He has been the youngest Seeker ever appointed and served as Seeker until his death in 10714 when he was captured and killed by the Infinite Empire during a mission to extract information on the Rakata biology.

Personal history

Ulric Frehty was the son of two Je’daii who joined the Ordo Templaris in the very beginning and grew up in the Ordo never knowing anything else.
His life was colored by the fear, desperation and hardship that came with the War. Often on the move and always living with the fear of losing his parents like so many others. He was lucky enough to have both his parents alive until he was seventeen when his father died in a skirmish with the Rakata and his mother died of old age when he was over thirty.
He was chosen early to become the apprentice of Xeph the Seeker of the Ordo. He had shown great potential in the force and a unique view on the galaxy. He would do and say strange things, point out anomalies that nobody else noticed or cared about. This lead Xeph to believe the child was guided by the force in a way very few ever were. Ulric was devastated when Xeph died, and only managed to pull out a spiral of depression with the help of the Pillar and Flame . At only 19 he took on the role of Seeker, not believing himself ready yet he still preformed his duties and with the guidance of the force he helped unlock many secrets of the Rakata for the Architect.
On a mission somewhere in the mid-rim he was captured by the Infinite Empire. He had been sent to infiltrate and extract information from a Rakata biological lab by the Architect. The objective was Rakata biological data and materials that the Architect had urgently requested for his project.
The mission was a complete failure and all 19 Templars including the Seeker were killed. The Ordo would send a second team to the same base to recover the mission objectives. Intel provided by the initial team before their capture ensured the second teams success. They also managed to recover the bodies of the fallen and bring them back to the Ordo.
