Ordo Templaris first Crusade

The First Crusade and the beginning of the order was the Crusade that would define the rest of the orders history. The rules, traditions and ceremonies of the order was made during this period and reflect the Jet’aii heritage of the order.

History

The main enemy of the first Crusade was the Rakata and their Infinite Empire. These dark side users threatened to swallow the galaxy whole. If this were to happen it was the belief of the order that shortly after all life would cease to exist. They believed that such and overwhelming strength of Bogan would only lead to complete destruction of the lifeblood that fuels our universe.
They believed the Tho Yor was sent to the galaxy by whoever had seeded it the first time and created the force itself. They believed the Tho Yor held the secrets to defeat the Rakata, as they had been weaponized on Tython Mir, the Architect believed he too could learn to use their technology somehow to defeat the Rakata.
The first crusaders became fixated on expanding and building new strongholds, learning new technology and always trying to catch up with the Rakata who seemed infinitely more advanced and evolved. It was only during the later stages of the First Crusade the order made giant leaps in technology, not long after the Architect had secluded himself in his workshop and Teregun the first Flame had become the Eternal Flame. The Rakata become ill and loose their grip on the galaxy as they suffer from a strange plague and the order is able to build up some resources before they go dormant. Much information regarding the first Crusade is lost.
