The Rivera Family

The Rivera Family has been the ruling family of Solva, The Third since its inception.

Originally the elected ruler of the City of Solva during the early days after The Schism, Ingrid Rivera eventually rose to Grand Duchess of the new collected territory when the disparate groups of the area agreed to Ennius Juliant I's terms of alliance.

From that moment the Rivera family ruled over the entirety of Solva, the former communities they would help prosper now their sworn vassals, and the Rivera's themselves sworn to The Juliant Dynasty. The two families would have a close relationship as one of their greatest allies, often intermarrying, there have been at least three Rivera's that have sat the throne as consorts to their Emperor or Empress, and many more Rivera's married to second and third born children.

The current head of the family, Arter, sits as Grand Duke of Solva while his younger sister, Beatris sits at the side of her husband, Ennius Juliant IV as Empress of the Dawn.

Times are good, and often have been, for the Rivera family, with loyal vassals, and the ear of the Emperor.
