Mr Sticks

Mr Sticks was an undertaker and doctor from Dustrun, Hasport.

Mr Sticks was an illusive figure within the city, mostly keeping to himself and his work, only interacting with clients and the dead. Sticks did however break his isolationist attitude when he took a young Tamyrlin Whistlegrace under his wing as an apprentice, likely due to his increasing age and illness.

Sticks had always been a sickly man, pale and lean, but his health seemed to take a greater turn around the time that Tam was apprenticed to him. Tam had seen Mr Sticks be haunted by a spectre, named by the young man as Hood, due to his distinctive shape. Its unclear whether this spectre was responsible for the decline in Sticks' health or if it was simply due to age.

Mr Sticks would eventually die in 784PS, Tam again seeing the spectral figure hovering above the man. The relationship between Sticks and Hood is not known, whether it was parasitic, mutually beneficial, or even if Sticks was aware. Regardless, Sticks passed on all he knew to his apprentice, and seemingly passed on the spectre as well.
