Crenus Juliant I was a good and noble Emperor who continued his mother's process of rebuilding and strengthening the Empire.

Crenus ruled the Empire well, focusing on rebuilding and strengthening alliances. He would eventually offer to buy up the debt of the Halfling kingdom of Panait, on the proviso they join the Empire as the sixteenth duchy. A compromise was reached and Panait joined the Empire, though was still allowed to use the title of King for their ruling family, as a sign of respect for their long dynasty.
