Vinima

Friendly desert dwellers

The Vinima are a sub-group of Anima, who mainly live in the two desert areas of Orcerta. They share most of the common traits of Anima. Due to this, the Vinima tend to be quite tall and have blue toned skin. Furthermore, the sclera of their eyes is completely black and their irises change colour in relation to what affinity they have.

Friendly travellers

While there are some settlements in the desert, most vinima are nomadic and rarely stay put in one place for longer than a few weeks.   Their always friendly attitude towards people they meet as well as their always packed Keglus has given them the reputation of being desert merchants. This is fully justified, as a good game or a fitting trade is never something a Vinima would dream of passing up on.

Colorful and Intricate clothes

Vinima are always easy to spot regardless of where one finds them, for it is common for them to wear eye-catching clothes. The clothing is usually self-made and features intricate patterns and bright colours which complement the vinima´s darker complexion quite well.   Women frequently wear bright make-up, especially around the eyes, which compliments their vivid and colourful irises.

Silver Tongued

The vinima possess both a very outgoing nature, as well as a readiness to talk to everyone for hours on end. This has provided the Vinima with both a good and a bad reputation.   They are commonly said to be harsh negotiation partners as well as silver-tongued in their trades. This style of communication has lead to some people mistrusting them because they "never know if what they say is true or a skilled lie."

Dry Sands but never a dry Cup

The Vinima´s well-known friendliness isn#t just something that can be experienced in their way of acting and treating others, but is also reflected in their ways of celebrating. For Vinima, every day is a good day to celebrate, especially if you meet new people or old friends, or you just had a wonderful day.   It is quite common to hear Vinima celebrating in the quiet nights of the desert. One thing that might be even more common though, is seeing them invite every traveller they come across to join them, play games and sing songs.
