Oasis Cult

The Oasis group is a small group of people following the ways of the water domain deity.

Members

Almost all members of the Oasis are Reptila, this is mainly due to the fact that settlements worshipping the cult are mainly in areas where humans, other vitra or anima rarely settle.
There are no exact numbers on how many members this cult has, but due to it's nature it does not need any monitoring.

Location

Members of the Oasis Cult can be mainly found in the deserts, which are located in the north west and south east of Orcerta.
Several settlements were build to honour the water deity, often shown by a water fountain in the middle of a settlement and the local tavern having "Oasis" in the name.

Credo

Their credo is devotion to the water elder, meaning they sacrifice to it on a monthly basis, throwing different fruits into a local water source.
This is done in the hopes to bring rain - and by now travelers - to the settlement, making it prosper.
Oasis members are very friendly to travelers, saying that wealth and joy should be shared and not hoarded - as such, settlements of this cult are known for their hospitality and their great services to people traveling through.

Historical Background

It is said that this cult originated when the elders roamed the land and especially the water elder wandered the desert, bringing rain and prosperity to an area thought to be dead.
That was the moment where reptilia settled in the desert around oasises and began worshipping the so called deity.
Some scriptures are said to be eye witness reports passed on from generation to generation, telling about the wealth the elder brought.
