Anti-Magic Technology

Anti-Magic technology is a unique technology invented by ORCHESTRA, and known and used solely by them. It involves disrupting or nullifying magic by destabilising the flow of stem particles, thus rendering most magic powers inert and the emitter powerless. It was key to them gaining the upper hand in The Unseen War, and nowadays is still used for the same purpose, but is more advanced, and now used to hunt down survivors.

Utility

The technology is used to nullify or disrupt magic so that ORCHESTRA can kill, capture, or destroy whatever is producing it. This may be the magic of a single person or object, or magic in a general area. The technology has many forms and variations, so the exact methods for doing this vary.

Access & Availability

The technology is only known and used by ORCHESTRA, and is closely guarded to ensure their rivals or normal people never access it.

Complexity

The technology requires an understanding of the workings of magic, which is based in particle physics, and so requires knowledge of this topic.

Discovery

The technology began when ORCHESTRA discovered the the stem particle. After realising its critical role in magic, they developed the technology to disrupt or nullify it.
