Session 6 - When Last we met 9/26/22

General Summary

When last we met, The party sat atop a cliff overlooking the camp of Orryn Wren, warlord of the Blackfyre clan. After some deliberation, the party staged and expertly executed plan of attack. Picking off outlying bandits with bow and bolt. The party entered the camp where they found dozens upon dozens of bandits. Celeste and a few others continued picking them off from a distance as the rest of the party moved in for close combat. From there, Paxton emerged setting the camp on fire and causing a mass panic. Many fled into a Spike Growth trap laid by Mistral. Many Bandits lost their lives to the wicked Bramble patch.
From there Combat started in earnest with Paxton and Orryn squaring off while the rest of the party focused on the other remaining members of Orryn's gang. Tensi Grappled and tamed Their war bear with the help of Romaia's speak with animals spell. A swashbuckling swordsman proved quite a challenge for the party until Paxton cast his Vengeful glare ability. This swordsman being one of Paxton's crew he swore revenge against, the enemy became paralyzed by fear and was finished off by the rest of the party. 
While Paxton's back was turned, Orryn dealt a lethal blow to Arcturus, taking him out of the fight. Romaia aided him with a healing potion to at least keep him from death's door While the rest of the Party and Paxton surrounded Orryn Wren and overwhelmed him with their sheer numbers and eventually put the sadistic Sea Captain down once and for all.

Orryn Wren - Paxton's commanding officer during the War. Killed Paxton in cold blood along with his wife, child and their entire village in an act of terrorism.
Andras(name never learned) - The other remaining member of Paxton's platoon to which he swore revenge. A bolt from the blue fired by Celeste brought him down
Bear - Wild animal Used as combat fodder by the Blackfyre clan. Calm and docile for the moment
